This pattern is easy to understand but good sewing skills are required due to the intricate shapes and tiny pleats. This elegant valance is fit for a queen. The swags are made separately from the horns, tails, and jabots. The swags can be made with or without the scallop cuffs. This design is installed on medallions. Instructions for fabric bow medallions are included (bow medallions are optional). The center swag is raised 6" above the side swags. If you choose, the side swags can be repeated (with no center raised swag) and installed on a pole with rings. The center swag has widths 20" to 30" and hangs 24" deep. The side swag has widths 12" to 18" and hangs 23" deep. The tail hangs between the swags and is 18" deep. The jabot is about 26" deep and has a return. All pattern pieces can be altered in depth.
