Your friends and relatives will be amazed at your skill and
talent!! This popular and long running class includes
instruction in stripping, retying springs, padding and
recovering. Special techniques are used to give
your piece a professionally finished look.
Fabric Farms Interiors offers for sale, upholstery fabrics,
plus the supplies and tools you'll need for this class.
Our talented instructor, Danny Price, has been
upholstering nearly 37 years and has been teaching this class
Interiors since 1998.
Classes are on Monday and Wednesday night from 6-9PM
for 3 weeks. That's six three-hour classes --
18 total hours of instruction!
Nonetheless, upholstering is hard work, so expect to
spend up to 15 hours outside of class time working on
your piece. You can work on a chair, loveseat or sofa.
Choose among our 1,400 bolts on in-stock fabric, or over
60,000 orderable fabrics and receive a 25% discount
on supplies (excluding tools)--burlap, foam, batting, etc. purchased for
your piece during the class.
Please bring your piece to the first class.
Old fabric must be removed before 1st class.
A simple or less valuable piece is advised unless
you have previous upholstery experience. We recommend
you purchase and study
Singer Upholstery Basics book. Also, bring a
staple puller, long nosed-pliers, seam ripper, work gloves, and
scissors to the first class. Some sewing is
involved in the majority of pieces. It is helpful
if you have a sewing machine at home.
7-14 days before the class begins you will receive
a reminder letter and instructions on preparing your
piece. A free orientation clinic class is provided at 5:30
just before the first class.

in size and subject to availability.
Class size is limited to 7. No refunds unless class
is cancelled.
